Overview

Recommended for: Anyone who wants shared moments that feel real.

Build your own sled with your team and compete against others in a downhill race.

Each team constructs its own sled using skis, wood, and tools. Then it is off to the race track: Who can go the farthest? Who impresses with creative design? Craftsmanship, competition, fun, and team spirit—all included. The event concludes with an award ceremony and an aperitif or dinner in the snow.

Itinerary

Meeting points
Meeting Point

We pick you up at the agreed meeting point and head to the site together. Once at the destination, the prepared site awaits, calm, snowy, and ready for action.

Welcome & Briefing
15 mins

The guides welcome you and explain the process. Then it's time to divide into teams and hand out the materials: basic framework on skis, tools, starting budget, and receive an overview of the materials store. Now it's clear what counts: tactics, craftsmanship, and bold ideas.

Sled Building
1.5 hrs

Each team plans, builds, and improvises. Materials can be purchased with the budget at the depot or a professional can be enlisted for help in the workshop. Meanwhile, the team flag is created in the flag studio. The guides are on hand, observing, helping, and asking questions. The countdown is on.

Safety Check & Race
30 mins

Only those who pass the safety check can hit the slopes. Then comes the moment of truth: Each sled is driven by a team member. The goal is to cover the longest distance possible. The jury also evaluates creativity, the flag, and teamwork.

Award Ceremony & Conclusion
1 hr

After the results are in, the winning team is celebrated. You laugh, share the day’s best mishaps, and realise you have built more than just a sled. Then it is either time to head back home or onto the next program, depending on the arrangement.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.

Activity-specific weather info

Our events can be affected by weather conditions; however, it is difficult to predict exactly how an event will be impacted until closer to the event day. We monitor conditions carefully to ensure all activities remain within our safety limits, and bad weather does not necessarily mean a cancellation.

If we are unable to run an event as planned, we will do our best to adjust the program to offer a similar experience or to find an alternative date. If neither option is possible, we will provide a full refund.
