No. You stay on the raft throughout the tour and wear a life jacket at all times.
Swimming ability is not required for the Cheese Fondue Float. The raft is wide and stable, you sit in a cushioned spot, and you are never asked to enter the water. A life jacket is mandatory for all participants and is included in the price. The raft is paddled by your guide; your only job is to eat, drink and enjoy the views. General good health is required, and the maximum weight is 125 kg.
