How do you ride a box with a snowboard?

The easiest slide technique on a box is called the 50-50. You keep your board straight and ride centered over the box. You do not jump; instead, roll onto the obstacle with light pressure on the flat base.
Key points: have enough speed, ride in the fall line, and look well ahead. Keep your knees relaxed and weight centered. Never dig in your edges just before the box, this leads to falls.
In the course, we teach you how to approach the box safely, maintain balance, and exit correctly. Once you master this, you can progress to small rotations or other slides. Landing your first box is a big achievement and often easier than many expect.
