How does a 180° in the park differ from a regular 180°?

A 180° in the park is the first rotation trick over a kicker. You rotate half a turn in the air and land switch. There are two directions; frontside, where you see the landing, and backside, where you rotate away from the slope.

You need solid takeoff technique, body tension, and confident switch riding. The trick begins already in the approach, you need focus, timing, and upper-body rotation. The takeoff often uses a small ollie or active pop off the lip.

In the air, stay compact. Your eyes lead the movement, the board follows. Land switch, low and centered. In the course, we guide you to gradually master the motion.

The park 180° is a classic and a gateway to many other rotations. Landing it cleanly opens up a whole world of tricks.
