How does a 180° on or off a box work?

When you spin 180° onto or off a box, it is called an entry or exit spin. The trick is to control the rotation carefully to avoid slipping.

For a 180° onto the box, approach with a bit more speed, pop slightly, and rotate the board in the air. You then land, for example, switch on the box and slide over it. For a 180° off, pop at the end of the box and rotate during the jump. Key points include having a stable stance, look in the direction of rotation, stay calm.

In the course, we start with mini-spins. We teach how to generate momentum, prepare the pop, and control the landing. The movement looks smooth but requires precision, so we progress step by step.
