What is a worm turn?

Topics

In a worm turn, you briefly sit down on the snow while riding and rotate a full 360° around your axis. You may support yourself with one hand, stay on your skis, and then return to an upright position. The trick is playful and a lot of fun. At the same time, it trains balance, mobility, and coordination. We practice it in a controlled way on flat terrain. The goal is to understand the movement and build confidence in unusual positions on skis. The worm turn is not difficult, but it looks spectacular.
