Riding switch is common in the park. For example, you might do a 180° and land backward, or approach a feature riding switch. This requires control, balance, and focus. We practice it first on flat terrain before moving to the park. There, we use simple boxes to try your first switch approaches and landings. You need to stay stable and look over your shoulder in the direction of travel.
