What is the Spiderweb and is it safe?

The Spiderweb is a 170-square-metre blue rope net, stretched 7 metres above the Weisse Lütschine river. You can walk on it without a harness or special equipment. The net is a fixed installation that's regularly maintained. It has a coarse mesh that provides grip and gives slightly underfoot when you move. Children and adults use it at the same time. It's the only installation of its kind in any Swiss canyon.
