What should I wear and bring?

Dress in layers: a base layer (functional underwear), a warm mid-layer like fleece or merino, and a weatherproof outer jacket. Waterproof pants matter, especially for the sled run, because snow gets kicked up. Ski pants are often too warm for snowshoeing, so a softshell pant is a better choice. On your feet, you need winter shoes, at least ankle-high and ideally waterproof.
Bring: warm gloves (available to rent), ski or sunglasses (available to rent), sunscreen even on cloudy days, and a water bottle.
Snowshoes, poles, and the sled are provided. One tip from experience: thin liner gloves under your warm gloves are worth their weight in gold once you reach for your camera or the sled rope.
