Which via ferratas in Switzerland are particularly recommended?

Updated last week

Via Ferrata Mürren–Gimmelwald (BE)
Spectacular and exposed, but manageable.
This route is unique: it descends from Mürren to Gimmelwald along a vertical rock face with 400 m of air beneath your feet. Over 2.2 km, traverse narrow steps and cable passages through breathtaking scenery. Highlights include: basejump platform, 80 m zipline, 60 m suspension bridge. Technically moderately difficult (C), but its exposure makes it unsuitable for the faint-hearted. With a guide, also suitable for beginners.

Daubenhorn Via Ferrata (Leukerbad, VS)
Long, demanding, uncompromising.
Those seeking the ultimate test will find it here. 1000 m elevation gain, 6–7 hours ascent, difficulty D/E – one of Switzerland’s toughest via ferratas. Over 200 m of ladders, endless cable sections, and exposed rock faces up to nearly 3000 m. Only for very experienced, enduring climbers. Reward: panoramic view over the entire Valais from a true summit.

Eiger Via Ferrata (Grindelwald, BE)
Compact classic with true north face atmosphere.
An alpine route with everything it should offer, right beside the famous Eiger North Face. From the Eiger Trail, the route passes rocky terrain and ladders to Rotstocksattel (2640 m) and onward to the summit of Rotstock. Moderate difficulty, ideal for fit beginners comfortable with heights. Best views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau included.
