Why are cameras not allowed on some OUTDOOR Switzerland tours?

On activities like rafting, canyoning, bungee jumping, and skydiving, you need both hands free at all times. Selfie sticks, chest mounts, and handheld cameras create serious safety risks in rapids, on rocks, or near helmets.
Your guide's job is to keep you safe and move the group efficiently. A participant wrestling with a camera strap in a canyon or on a rubber raft draws attention away from both.
OUTDOOR Switzerland has prohibited personal cameras on 10 specific experiences: Rafting Lütschine, Rafting Simme, Bungy Stockhorn, Canyon Swing, Canyoning Chli Schliere, Canyoning Grimsel, Canyoning Interlaken, Airplane Skydive, Helicopter Skydive, and Jetboat. The rule protects everyone on the tour, not just the person holding the camera.
