Why is riding switch in the snowpark important?

In the park, when you jump a 180, you land switch. Many box slides also start or end switch. That is why it is important to feel confident riding with your opposite foot forward.

In the course, we train this specifically. You practice simple turns switch, learn to stabilize your stance, and rebalance your body. At first, it feels unusual, but with a bit of practice, it becomes natural.

Starting early with both directions gives you far more options in the park later. Riding switch cleanly also simply looks better. It is not about perfection, but about control.
