Itinerary
Meeting pointsYour adventure begins at the OUTDOOR Base or from one of the selected meeting points. Alternatively, you can go directly to the airfield in Reichenbach if you're traveling with spectators, free parking is available on site.
Together with the group, you take the shuttle to the dropzone in Reichenbach. The drive along the banks of Lake Thun and through the lush landscape of the Kandertal takes about 20 minutes, giving you enough time to soak in the mountains, sign the essential paperwork, and mentally prepare for what's to come.
On arrival at Dropzone, you will be brought into the hangar and receive a jump suite. Once everyone is ready, one of the tandem masters will give a briefing on what you need to do: how does the exit work, body position during freefall and what position you need to get into for landing.
After the briefing each jumper will be allocated a tandem master and, if you ordered photos or video, your tandem master will take the time to interview and gets some shots on the ground. I'll be strapped into the harness, before you make your way to the aircraft together.
The flight takes about 15 minutes as you pass the peaks of the Swiss Alps and the lakes of Interlaken.
Now it’s time: red light, get ready. Yellow light, the door opens. Green light, you slide forward, your heart races and then Go Go Go — you’re in freefall.
For about 45 seconds you drop through the sky at up to 180 km/h (120 mph). The wind rushes around you, adrenaline floods your body, then the canopy opens.
You float over the valley, steer a few turns with your tandem master and after about five minutes the ground approaches. Your instructor takes control, you lift your legs and land safely in the field in front of the hangar.
After landing, the feeling of euphoria is deep: take a moment to catch your breath. Then our shuttle takes you back to Interlaken with one more item checked off your bucket list.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
