Overview
One moment you’re flying over the Alps, the next you’re in freefall.
Take off by helicopter for the ultimate skydive. After an 8-minute scenic flight you jump from 13’000 ft / 4000 m over Lauterbrunnen. The freefall lasts about 45 seconds at speeds up to 120 mph / 180 km/h. Then silence takes over as you float under the canopy, steering a few turns on the way to a safe landing.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsYour skydive starts at the OUTDOOR Base in Interlaken or at one of the pickup points you choose when booking. If you have spectators with you, you can also go straight to the heliport in Lauterbrunnen. There you get a short introduction and can ask any last questions.
Together with the group, you take the shuttle to Lauterbrunnen. The ride takes about 20 minutes through the stunning Lauterbrunnen Valley with its cliffs and waterfalls. On the way you complete the paperwork and get your first briefing about the jump.
At the heliport your tandem instructor welcomes you and gets you into a jumpsuit and harness. Then comes the safety briefing: how the exit works, what to do in freefall, and the position for landing. If you booked photos or video, your instructor records a quick interview before the flight to capture the excitement.
The helicopter ride takes about eight minutes, flying past Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The view is breathtaking. Then the door opens, your heart pounds and it is time to jump.
You freefall for about 45 seconds, reaching speeds up to 120 mph (180 km/h). The valley below, the mountains around you. A moment you will never forget.
Then the parachute opens. Everything slows down. You glide through the clear mountain air, steer a few turns with your instructor and take in the view. After about five minutes under canopy, you lift your legs and land safely in the field.
After landing, you return the equipment, and our shuttle takes you back to Interlaken.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
