Overview
Try climbing, discover new movements, and take on the challenge—all in one session!
In this introduction, you will learn climbing from the ground up. You will start with bouldering close to the ground before exploring your first heights on a rope. Your guide will show you how to move, belay, and find calm in movement. Perfect for anyone looking to discover something new.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsYou arrive independently at the Orbit Climbing Gym and meet your guide shortly before the start at the entrance. After a casual greeting, you will head to the locker room together, where you can store your valuables and prepare for the new movement experience.
Your guide equips you with climbing shoes, a harness, and—if necessary—a belay device. In a relaxed setting, they explain the first steps on the wall: What is important in bouldering? How do you behave when belaying? Even without prior knowledge, you will quickly find your way.
In the bouldering area, you start with simple movements close to the ground—without a rope. You feel how your body works, learn about your center of gravity, and get a feel for the proper use of hands and feet. The low walls and soft floors provide the ideal space to experiment, accompanied by practical tips from your guide.
Then it is on to rope climbing. Your guide belays you as you move step by step upwards. You gain confidence in the technique and discover new perspectives—without pressure, entirely at your own pace.
After about two hours, you return the equipment. If you like, you can continue bouldering freely afterwards. Many experience a sense of clarity and energy right after the course. The gym invites you to let the experience sink in—whether actively on the wall or during a small break on the side.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
