Helicopter Tour Jungfrau Region
Season:
All yearKey info
Overview
Hover in a helicopter over glaciers and peaks – and land right in the heart of the high alpine ice world.
This helicopter flight takes you up close to the famous peaks of the Jungfrau region. Fly along the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, over the Aletsch Glacier, and – weather permitting – with a glacier landing on the Petersgrat. A spectacular view of the Swiss Alps.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsThe flight starts at the Lauterbrunnen heliport. After a brief welcome, the pilot will provide a safety briefing. The flight path and glacier landing (if weather permits) will be discussed.
Shortly after takeoff, a unique view of Lauterbrunnen, the valley of 72 waterfalls, unfolds. The journey continues over the world-famous mountain trio Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The view of the steep north face of the Eiger is particularly impressive.
The route continues over the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. If conditions allow, the helicopter lands on the Petersgrat, where you can stand on the glacier for 10-15 minutes – an unforgettable experience.
On the way back, fly over the Lauterbrunnen Valley, past roaring waterfalls and steep rock faces. After 25 minutes, you will safely land back in Lauterbrunnen.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
