Itinerary
Meeting pointsYour winter adventure begins either at the OUTDOOR Base in Interlaken. There, you will be greeted by your guide and equipped with everything you need: snowshoes, suitable winter boots (if needed), and poles.
After a brief welcome, you head towards the starting point in a shuttle; Driving winding roads and through mounatin tunnels. You will experience areas only locals tend to find.
On site, you receive an introduction to the technique and equipment. You learn how to move safely in the soft snow and what to watch out for when walking with snowshoes.
Then you start wondering into a snowy winter terrain: silent forests, bright clearings, frozen streams. The crunch of snow underfoot accompanies every step.
After about an hour, you take a short break. A hot drink warms you up, and your gaze sweeps over the winter landscape. Then the descent begins. With snowshoes, you remain sure-footed, and the return path leads along quiet trails, past alpine farm huts back to the gondola station.
At the mountain station, you board the gondola again and then back into the shuttle. You then head back to Interlaken. Time to reflect on your experiences and share photos and memories between eachother.
Back in Interlaken, you return the equipment and say goodbye to the group. Perhaps you take a moment for yourself, feeling the pleasant tiredness in your legs and remembering the silence among the trees. A day in the snow that lingers.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
