Hiking Tips around Seilpark Rigi
Direct from the Station to Seilpark Rigi
Küssnacht am Rigi BHF → Lakeside Promenade → Alpenhof → Seilpark Rigi
From the station, follow the signs to Seebodenalp and stroll along the lakeside promenade. At the church, turn left through the old town and continue towards Alpenhof. The higher you go, the more impressive the view becomes. From Alpenhof, it's just 250 m to Seilpark Rigi.
Gesslerburg
Küssnacht am Rigi BHF → Lakeside Promenade → Gesslerburg Ruins → Alpenhof → Seilpark Rigi
From Küssnacht station, walk along the lakeside promenade through the old town to Gesslerburg. The ruins offer a great panoramic view and are perfect for a break. Continue across meadows to Alpenhof. From there, it's just 250 m to Seilpark Rigi.
Hohle Gasse & Gesslerburg
Hohle Gasse → Tell Chapel → Gesslerburg Ruins → Alpenhof → Seilpark Rigi
"Through the Hohle Gasse you must go..." like Wilhelm Tell! Then the path leads to Gesslerburg with a great view of Lake Lucerne – perfect for a break. Along the village stream, continue across meadows to Alpenhof. From there, it's just 250 m to Seilpark Rigi.
Seebodenalp via Cable Car
Küssnacht am Rigi BHF → Küssnacht Cable Car Station Seebodenalp → Seebodenalp Mountain Station → Seilpark Rigi
From the station, head to the cable car, which will comfortably take you to Seebodenalp. Enjoy the views of Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug, and Mount Pilatus. From the mountain station, a beautiful hiking trail leads directly to Seilpark Rigi.
