Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Refining Technique and Rope Handling
We meet at the OUTDOOR Shop & Café in Grindelwald, where we check equipment and make final preparations together. We take the bus to the starting point and hike up to the Gleckstein Hut. Once there, we take a break before heading to the climbing garden. There, we review basic knots, practice belaying techniques, and work on our personal climbing technique. Special attention is given to rope handling in challenging terrain. We also train short-rope techniques which are essential for alpine tours.
Day2
Day 2: Ridge Climbing and Applied Belaying Techniques
After breakfast, we dive right in: A simple ridge climb challenges us. Here, we apply what we've learned: safe climbing, independent belaying, and rappelling. The focus is on technique and efficiency in alpine terrain. Step by step, you gain confidence and routine. In the afternoon, we descend back to the valley and conclude the course with a debriefing.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
