You are on whitewater. Intense conditions. However, this does not mean uncontrolled. Commercial rafting is carefully planned, focused on safety, structure, responsibility. What looks dangerous is well secured.

Rafting in Switzerland is not done blindly
Swiss providers operate under supervision. Organizations like Safety in Adventures issue ISO-21101 safety label. Holders regularly inspected by SGS or SQS. Recommendations from Swiss Lifesaving Society (SLRG). Often partnership with Rega for emergencies. Nothing left to chance.

Before every tour
You receive:

  • Life jacket
  • Helmet
  • Wetsuit

Detailed safety briefing:

  • How to move in the boat
  • What matters in rapids
  • How to behave in emergency

Every tour led by professional guide with special training. Usually a second guide in kayak for support.

You are in control
Most importantly, you should follow instructions, listen attentively, and paddle correctly. Do not act independently. Best conditions for safe experience. River rafting is not a walk, not a risk trip. Controlled action, if you participate and engage with the river.
