Community Event at Seilpark Interlaken: A Day with Change Moments
On June 13, Seilpark Interlaken belonged to our community for a whole day. 100 people were there, and they all had one thing in common: they had commented under the video by Stefan Pfister, Change Moments. That comment was their ticket. No contest, no fine print. If you had commented, you were in.
And the day started well. Sun, warm, not a cloud in the sky. The grounds slowly filled up, people arrived, looked around, found each other. Then Stefan welcomed the crowd, short and personal. After that came the music: Nick Mellow played a concert to settle in, before everyone headed up into the trees. Free climbing at your own pace, through the courses strung between the trees. Some went straight for the demanding routes. Others eased their way to the first platform and realized up there that the height is less scary than expected.
Around noon, the smell of the grill drifted across the grounds. The catering came from Blaue Kuh, our local butcher in Matten, and was free for everyone. Meat from the region instead of a food truck from who knows where. Those who wanted to sat in the shade and rested their legs before heading back into the trees.

The best part wasn't the program. It was what happened between the people. No rush, no tightly scheduled agenda. People who had only known each other as comments under a video suddenly stood side by side on a platform, cheering each other on. For a few hours, an online community became a real group. That's exactly why we do days like this. And that's exactly why it won't be the last one.
Thanks to Stefan Pfister and Change Moments, to Nick Mellow for the music, to Blaue Kuh for the grill and to all 100 who came. If you're reading this and thinking, I would have loved to be there: the next event is coming. Getting in is no rocket science. Check what's coming up. We'd love to see you there.
