Adventure Eiger North Face
Season:
Key info
Overview
You step off the train in the middle of the Eiger North Face and suddenly find yourself in another world.
Equipped with a helmet and harness, you go through the tunnel hole right into the Eiger North Face. You feel the rock, the altitude, and the history. No show, no backdrop. A real place that demands more than just courage: perception, trust, team spirit. Can optionally be combined with a glacier hike or sled ride.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsWe pick you up at the agreed meeting point and head to the Grindelwald Terminal.
At the Eiger Glacier station, you and the mountain guide team prepare for the experience. Your guides give you a brief overview of the wall's history and the significance of the Stollenloch. Then you are equipped with a helmet, climbing harness and carabiner. Everything is adjusted on site. One last equipment check, and you are ready.
The train towards Jungfraujoch takes you directly to the Wall. It stops exclusively for you in the middle of the Eiger North Face. The door opens, and you step into the Stollenloch. Inside: silence, cold, rock. Outside: vastness, abyss, history. It is not a normal exit, but a step out of the ordinary.
Secured by a rope, you climb through the tunnel window, right into the Eiger North Face. The focus lies on perception, trust, and shared experience. You feel the rock under your hands, look into the valley, and begin to reorient yourself. In between, the guides tell you stories about early North Face ascents and show you historical climbing gear.
After the Wall experience, you have a choice: either get back on the train and continue to Jungfraujoch, or start the return journey to Grindelwald by train and/or gondola. Depending on the program, you can add a glacier hike, an aperitif, or a sled ride afterwards.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.

Activity-specific weather info
Our events can be affected by weather conditions; however, it is difficult to predict exactly how an event will be impacted until closer to the event day. We monitor conditions carefully to ensure all activities remain within our safety limits, and bad weather does not necessarily mean a cancellation.
If we are unable to run an event as planned, we will do our best to adjust the program to offer a similar experience or to find an alternative date. If neither option is possible, we will provide a full refund.
