Meeting points
Meeting point

The course starts with a brief check-in at the OUTDOOR Base in Interlaken. Here you will be shown where to store your personal belongings before meeting your trainer in the ORBIT climbing gym. They will provide you with bouldering shoes and chalk to ensure you are well prepared. You will then get an introduction to the key safety rules before heading to the wall.

Bouldering Basics – Technique & Safety

Before you start, you receive an introduction to the basic techniques. You will learn how to move efficiently, which holds and steps are useful, and how to land safely if you have to jump or fall from the wall. Your trainer will show you what to focus on to enjoy bouldering.

Practical Training & First Challenges

Then it gets practical: You will try out simple routes, improve your technique, and learn how to use your strength optimally. Your trainer will give you individual tips to help you progress step by step. If you like, you can also try some more challenging moves and routes.

Course Conclusion & Independent Bouldering

After an hour and a half, the course ends. If you feel like it, you can continue bouldering on your own afterward. This gives you the opportunity to deepen what you have learned and keep experimenting.

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
