Itinerary
Meeting points Meeting Point
You start right where the adventure begins: at the quay in Bönigen, directly on the shores of Lake Brienz. It's best to be there 5 to 10 minutes before your booked departure time. The boat departs punctually and does not wait. Spectators can watch from the shore as the boat takes off.
Briefing
At the Jetboat Base, you meet your captain and receive a life jacket which is mandatory for everyone on board. Optional rain jacket and pants are available if you want to stay dry. After a short safety briefing, you board and are assigned your seat.
On the Lake
The ride lasts about 50 minutes and takes you across the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz, past steep cliffs, historical villages, and hidden coves. Along the way, you'll hear fascinating anecdotes about the region.
A first highlight is the stop at the Giessbach Falls. Here, the boat takes a short break so you can admire the waterfall and the hotel behind it. A picture-perfect moment.
On the way back, things really get going: 360° spins, abrupt changes of direction, and a good dose of wind in your face. The captain adjusts the intensity to the group but always ensures a smile on your face. You will get wet, but that is part of the fun.
After the Tour
The boat returns to the Jetboat Base in Bönigen. The last spins and accelerations provide a final adrenaline rush before things calm down and the shore comes closer.
Back on land, you return your gear. To wrap up, the guides will help you select a complimentary souvenir photo, which you can download online. If you want the video package, simply fill out the form on-site. And then? Take a deep breath, laugh, share stories; this ride is sure to be unforgettable.
