Overview
Ice climbing in untouched nature: No cable cars, no crowds, just you, the ice, and the next hold.
Ice climbing in Saxeten means vertical ice, tough techniques, and a remote setting. After a short approach, we climb frozen waterfalls of varying difficulty until our forearms burn.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsWe meet at the Skipintli in Saxeten, strap on our backpacks, check the gear, and set off. The sledding path leads us deep into the valley, where the ice falls rise before us. From afar, we can already see the mighty frozen waterfalls that will challenge us today.
Depending on skill and conditions, we choose suitable routes. The ice tools bite into the frozen water, the crampons grip firmly. Step by step, we climb upwards. Sometimes the ice is as hard as glass, sometimes it breaks under the tips of the ice tools. We climb until our arms grow heavy.
With tired muscles but wide grins, we pack up. The return path leads us back the same way. Perhaps we will drop into the Skipintli to reflect upon our experiences.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
