Day1
Day 1: Hut approach to Oberaletschhütte
The meeting point is in Blatten near Naters. From there, the cable car takes us to Belalp. The approach to the Oberaletschhütte is varied. A narrow, exposed path leads to the glacier moraines of the Oberaletsch Glacier. We follow it along until one last steep climb takes us to the hut: A remote base with views of the glaciated alpine landscape.

Day 2: Summit Day. Ski Tour to the Aletschhorn
Early in the morning, we set off. Head torches illuminate the ice of the Oberaletsch Glacier. Between crevasses and icefalls, we climb steeply uphill. On the southwest ridge, we put on our crampons for the sections of easy climbing to the summit. At the top, we are rewarded with a panoramic view from the Jungfrau to Mont Blanc. Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
