Overview
Skins on the touring skis and off you go: The Allalinhorn is your entry into the world of the 4000-meter peaks in the Alps.
The Allalinhorn is an ideal 4000-meter peak for ski tourers. After a challenging but manageable ascent, an unforgettable descent awaits all the way to Saas Fee. Glaciers, summit panoramas, and plenty of ski action: a real highlight for anyone looking to reach great heights.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsThe meeting point is in Saas Fee. From here, we take the cable car and the Metro Alpin to Mittelallalin at 3,457 m above sea level. From the mountain station, we can see our goal: the Allalinhorn.
Put on the skins, check the equipment, and off we go. The ascent begins with a traverse over the piste, then the trail leads us over the glacier. The terrain is never extremely steep, but the path remains demanding. The final section to the summit requires concentration once more.
Once at the top, we are rewarded with a magnificent view over the Valais mountain world.
After a short break and a snack from the backpack, the descent follows. Depending on the snow conditions, we go down either beside or on the piste all the way to Saas Fee. You will feel the meters of descent in your legs, but the satisfied grin remains. A classic ski tour with everything that it entails.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
