Arrival

The meeting point is in Saas Fee. From here, we take the cable car and the Metro Alpin to Mittelallalin at 3,457 m above sea level. From the top station, we can see our goal: the Allalinhorn.

Ascent
1.5 - 2.5 hr

Put on the skins, check the equipment, and off we go. The climb begins with a traverse over the piste, then the track leads us along the glacier. The terrain is never extremely steep, but there are a few more demanding steeper sections. The final section to the summit requires concentration once more.

Summit

Once at the top, we are rewarded with a magnificent view over the Valais mountain world.

Descent
1 - 2 hr

After a short break and a snack from the backpack, the ski descent follows. Depending on the snow conditions, we go down either beside or on the piste all the way to Saas Fee. You will feel the many meters of descent in your legs, but the satisfied grin remains. A classic ski tour with everything that it entails.
