Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ascent via Fuorcla d'Agnel
After meeting up and a brief equipment check, the ascent to Fuorcla d’Agnel begins. The landscape is barren, almost surreal: rock, snow, and the vastness of nature. Crossing to the north side marks the first highlight: a descent in shaded terrain, usually with good snow. A short counter-ascent takes us to the Jenatsch Hut, deep in the high mountains. The first day ends comfortably here.

Day 2: Climb Piz Laviner and Descend through Val Mulix
An alpine start: The traverse below Piz Jenatsch requires concentration. Then we steadily climb to Fuorcla Laviner, where we leave the skis. The summit of Piz Laviner offers a panoramic view before heading back the same way. The long descent through Val Mulix is the reward: 1,500 meters of elevation. At the end, the train takes us to Bergün, where we stay overnight.

Day 3: Ascent to Kesch Hut
Day three offers two route options: Either through Val Tuors or with an ascent over Piz Darlux. Both routes lead to Fuorcla da Funtauna and on to Kesch Hut. Depending on the weather and conditions, there may be time for a summit attempt on Piz Kesch Pitschen. The Kesch Hut is spectacularly located at the foot of the glacier: a perfect place for a peaceful night in the mountains.

Day 4: Ski Tour to Scalettahorn and Descent to Grialetsch Hut
The route takes us through Val dal Tschüvel to Alp Funtauna, where the real ascent begins. At the top of Scalettahorn, the view stretches far into the distance: a brief moment of silence before the descent. The last challenge is the traverse to Fuorcla Vallorgia, followed by a magnificent descent to Grialetsch Hut.

Day 5: Descent to Davos
The last day offers variability: depending on the conditions, the mountain guide will choose the best route. One option leads over Augstenhüreli with a final, brisk descent into Sertigtal. Alternatively, it goes directly into Dischmatal if the weather is unstable. Either way, the last turn towards Davos marks the end of an impressive crossing.

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
