Arrival

Meeting at the cable car station in Isenfluh, the small cable car takes us up to Sulwald.

Ascent
2.5 - 3.5 hr

This is where the climb begins: First through dense mountain forest, then over open slopes past the frozen Sulsseeli. After one last steeper section, we reach the summit of Höji Sulegg at 2,413 m above sea level.

Summit

A well-earned break. Hot tea, the view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau in their winter attire: a moment to savor.

Descent
1.5 - 2.5 hr

The descent starts with wide slopes, then we dive into rolling terrain. After Salzweng, a short re ascent to Bällehöchst follows before continuing: A view over Schynige Platte and Interlaken, then the track leads down to Schlipfwengen. The last meters follow the road down into the village of Saxeten where the tour ends: with tired legs and a broad smile.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
