Start at the Schilthorn, a challenging ascent, followed by a dream descent through untouched slopes: pure ski touring pleasure.

From the Schilthorn, this tour takes you through alpine terrain to the Hundshorn. After ascending along the ridge, a descent with ideal slopes follows. A short counter-ascent brings you to Wasenegg before heading down to Mürren or Gimmelwald. A perfect combination of effort, panorama, and downhill fun.

We meet in Stechelberg and take the cable car up to the Schilthorn.

Ascent
2 - 2.5 hrs

After a short descent to the Rote Härd, we put on the skins and ascend along the broad ridge to the Hundshorn.

Summit

The view from the summit extends far over the Bernese Alps. We enjoy our lunch amidst the winter landscape.

Descent
1.5 - 2 hrs

The descent begins with untouched slopes in perfect steepness down to the Rotstockhütte. Then follows a short counter-ascent to Wasenegg. One last look back, then it's down to Mürren or Gimmelwald, from where the cable car takes us back to Stechelberg.
