After meeting in Grindelwald, we check our equipment and take the Firstbahn cable car to the mountain station. This is where our tour begins.

The first section leads us gently uphill to the ice-covered Bachalpsee. During a short break, your mountain guide explains the surrounding peaks and shares knowledge about the region. From here, the terrain becomes steeper. Step by step, we work our way up the slope until we reach Faulhorn at 2,681 m above sea level.

Summit

The view extends from the nearby lakes, over the Bernese Alps to the Jura. A perfect spot for a break and a sandwich from your backpack.

On the descent to Bussalp, we enjoy the panorama and the silence of the mountains. Once at the bottom, we end the tour with a warm drink before the bus takes us back to Grindelwald.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
