Arrival

We meet and start our tour in Fildrich with a brief equipment check.

Ascent
3 - 3.5 hr

Once everyone is ready, we set off; first on flat terrain, then gently ascending towards Chilei. Within minutes, we are deep in the winter forest, and with each step, it gets quieter. The terrain becomes steeper, and we zigzag up the slope in tight turns. Step by step, we gain altitude. Soon the view opens up, and we pass the first alpine huts, buried deep in snow. Time for a short break: From here, we look across the valley to where Rauflihorn and Türmlihorn shine in the winter sun. The broad ridge of the Galmschibe stretches gently upward.

Summit

After the last challenging stretch, the panorama opens up: The peaks of the Bernese Oberland rise high above the Diemtigtal. A sip of hot tea from the thermos, a deep breath: this moment is all ours.

Descent
2.5 - 3 hr

The descent follows the same route. At a leisurely pace, we head back down to the valley. After about 6 hours of new experiences, we reach the starting point again: with tired legs and beautiful memories.

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
