Key info
Overview
Half-day, full experience: Your skiing journey starts right here.
In 2.5 hours, you will learn the basics of skiing: gliding, braking, and turning. You will be out in the snow, active all afternoon, learning quickly, and immediately understanding why so many people are hooked on skiing.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsThe starting point is the OUTDOOR Base Interlaken or OUTDOOR Shop Grindelwald, where you will be greeted by your ski instructor, receive skis, boots, and a helmet. The equipment will be adjusted to ensure everything fits comfortably and securely. Here, you also have the chance to rent ski clothes, gloves and goggles if needed.
Together, you'll travel to Bodmi Arena. It takes about 30 minutes from Interlaken and just a few minutes from Grindelwald. The arena is quiet, clear, and perfect for practice.
You'll learn how to walk in the snow with skis, make your first gliding movements, brake, and turn. You practice at your own pace. The terrain is safe, the air is clear, and the snow makes you want more.
To end the afternoon, you will get brief feedback and advice for your next steps in skiing, a group photo, and return the equipment.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
