Itinerary
Meeting pointsMeet your group in Interlaken at the OUTDOOR Base or directly at the OUTDOOR Shop in Grindelwald. Your ski instructor will greet you, and you will receive skis, ski boots, and a helmet. Everything will be adjusted to ensure you feel safe and comfortable. Then the adventure begins.
The journey takes about 30 minutes from Interlaken and just aminutes from Grindelwald. The destination is Bodmi Arena: a safe practice area with a magic carpet, a wide slope, and an unobstructed view of the mountains.
Your introduction to skiing starts with simple exercises: finding balance, gliding, braking, and making your first turns. You'll move a lot, learn quickly, and get a first feel for skis, snow, and terrain.
Then you have time for yourself. You can eat outside on the sun terrace at the Bodmi Hotel, have a picnic, or treat yourself at Café 3692. The main thing: breathe, talk, and support eachother.
Now it's time for turning, safe skiing, traversing, and side slipping. If things go well, you will be linking turns and possible get the chance to test yourself on a blue slope outside the arena at the end.
Finally, there's feedback, a group photo, and time for questions. Then return to the starting point with the great feeling of having mastered your first ski day.
