Itinerary
Meeting pointsThe tour starts at the OUTDOOR Base in Interlaken or alternatively you can choose to meet us closer to the canyon at Alpnach Dorf train station near Luzern (meeting 45 minutes after the trip time).
The scenic drive over the Brünig Pass to the Chli Schliere canyon takes about an hour. You may stop at Alpnach Dorf train station to collect the rest of the group. From there, it is a short drive to the starting point.
On arrival you will put on your gear (for those meeting in Alpnach, the guides bring this from Interlaken, so it is important that your booking details are accurate to ensure the gear fits).
The first obstacle is a 15-minute hike into the canyon; it sounds easy, but it is quite challenging with all the gear. At the entry to the canyon there is a detailed safety briefing. You will learn how to jump, slide, and move safely in the water.
Here's where the action is: Jumps of up to ten meters high, long natural slides, and powerful currents. Each section demands technique, courage, and full physical effort.
You'll climb, slide, jump, and swim through a rugged, spectacular canyon. The highest jump requires real commitment. Those who dare are rewarded with an intense nature experience that goes far beyond the adrenaline rush.
After about 3-4 hours in the canyon, the final section is reached. Here a drink and light picnic is provided before you drive back to your meeting point.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
