First train to Jungfraujoch - arrival at 8:11 AM, the weather was worse than expected. So, we started with a coffee and decided what was possible and safe considering the weather and snow conditions (avalanche situation). According to the weather forecast, it was supposed to improve today, but unfortunately, it would get very bad again on Monday with a lot of precipitation. Ultimately, we decided to be out for only two days, and instead of going to the Finsteraarhorn Hut, we stayed overnight at the nearby Mönchsjoch Hut. We used the first day for training and education; the program for the next day: descent to Konkordiaplatz, ascent to Lötschenlücke, and descent to Fafleralp. Contrary to our fears, the night was fortunately very clear. So, except for the first turns from Jungfraujoch, we had excellent snow.

Despite not-so-great conditions, we had a fantastic weekend.
