Overview
Two days on Europe's longest glacier: Endless glacier expanses and a spectacular overnight stay.
This two-day glacier hike takes you through the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Jungfrau-Aletsch. You'll trek over endless glacier expanses, past massive crevasses and moraines, from the Jungfraujoch to the Konkordia Hut. On the second day, the glacier hike continues to Fiescheralp. An unforgettable experience in one of the most fascinating landscapes of the Alps.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsArrival is on your own. We meet at Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe.
Out on the glacier, we rope up and head towards the eternal ice. The first steps feel unusual, but you'll quickly find your rhythm. Along the Jungfrau Firn, we hike past glacier crevasses to the vast Konkordiaplatz, where several glaciers converge. After a break, we cross the enormous expanse before a long metal staircase leads us to the Konkordia Hut.
At the hut, a unique view over the glacier sea awaits. A perfect place to end the day and experience a night in the high mountains.
After breakfast, we descend early in the morning via the southern path with a ladder to the glacier.
We strap on our crampons and hike over moraines, glacier surfaces, and crevasses. Where the glacier steeply drops to the right, we bid farewell to the ice.
We hike along the Märjelen Lake and over rolling alpine meadows towards Fiescheralp.
In the afternoon, our tour ends with countless impressions of one of the most impressive places in the Alps. The return journey begins with the cable car to Fiesch, where there are train connections in all directions.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
