This challenging ski tour crosses glacier fields and high mountain passes to the most distinctive peaks of the Bernese Alps. From the Mönch to the Finsteraarhorn, long ascents and impressive descents test your stamina and technique. 5 intense days in the high mountains that vividly demonstrate what true ski traverses are all about.

Day1
Day 1: Mönch. Start with an exposed ridge
The meeting point is at Grindelwald Terminal, then we take the cable car and train to Jungfraujoch. We cross the glacier to reach the southeast ridge of the Mönch, where we leave our skis. The final section over the exposed snow ridge requires concentration, but the view from the summit rewards every step. Descent to the Mönchsjochhütte, where we spend the first night.

Day2
Day 2: Summit ski tour to the Jungfrau
We start early and traverse the glacier to the 'Sporn'. The route leads over snow slopes and rocks to the Rottalsattel, where we leave our skis. With crampons, we ascend to the summit of the Jungfrau. The descent over the Aletsch Glacier to the Konkordia Hut is impressive: steep sections, vast glacier fields and pure alpine terrain.

Day3
Day 3: Gross Grünhorn. Through the eternal ice
The longest day of the tour begins with an ascent over the Ewig Schneefeld. The path to the saddle between Grünegghorn and Grünhorn requires strength before we reach the summit. The view of the Bernese 4000 meter peaks is magnificent. Descent back to the Konkordia Place, before we reach the Finsteraarhorn Hut via the Grünhornlücke.

Day4
Day 4: Finsteraarhorn – Highest peak of the Bernese Alps
The Finsteraarhorn, at 4,274m the highest point of our tour, awaits us. The ascent over the Hugisattel and the NW ridge requires secure climbing with skins and surefootedness with crampons. Reaching the summit is a breathtaking moment. Then we return to the hut to recover from the tour.

Day 5: Descent to Reckingen. Finish in Valais
After a short ascent to the Bächilücke, a long descent into Valais awaits. The terrain alternates between wide slopes and steep sections. In Reckingen, we conclude the tour with a glass of Valais wine. 5 days full of ski touring experiences are behind us.
