Itinerary
Meeting pointsFrom the parking lot at Rychenbachalp, we first walk to the start of the route.
The first pitches lead over solid limestone to the Klein Simelistock before the route transitions into a more airy ridge section. The traverse to the Gross Simelistock is exposed but not too technically difficult. After 10 pitches, we reach the summit, and the view into the wild Ochsental rewards the effort.
The descent is via several abseils and an scrambling down an alpine path back to the Engelhorn hut, from where we return to the parking lot.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
