Itinerary

Meeting points
Approach
1 hr

We meet in Sigriswil and drive a short distance up by car. From there, we leisurely ascend to the Bärenfalle, where we put on our climbing harnesses and helmets.

Climbing Tour
2 hrs

The tour begins with the first rock rises of the Ralligstöcke. We climb over sections with good grips and choose easier or more challenging ascents according to preference. Walking sections alternate with short climbing spots. Staying on the ridge, we encounter exciting climbing spots with views over the treetops and Lake Thun. The higher we climb, the more magnificent the view becomes: the lake lies far below us, Sigriswil and the Niesen present themselves in a perfect setting. After the last rises of the Ralligstöcke, we reach a hiking trail that leads us to Spitzi Flue. At the summit ridge, the final challenge awaits: a 20-meter high rock slab that we climb directly up.

Summit

Once at the top, we are rewarded with views of the Bernese Alps – with Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau in the background. We enjoy our break with a view of the deep blue Lake Thun.

Descent
1 - 3 hrs

We either start the descent directly via the hiking trail or, if the tour feels too short, we can add an extra round to the Sigriswiler Rothorn.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
