Itinerary

Meeting points
Approach
2 hr

We meet at the Firstbahn valley station in Grindelwald. The gondola takes us comfortably up to First, where the tour begins. After a short ascent, we reach Bachalpsee, a perfect spot for a first look at the surrounding peaks. We continue to Gassenboden, where we leave the hiking route and enter rocky terrain.

Climbing Tour
3 - 4 hr

This is where the real climbing adventure begins. The ascent to the 'Esel' is short but challenging – a first test for the rest of the ridge. After a short break, we continue to Simelihorn. Here it gets exciting: a steep rise demands full use of hands and feet. But the summit view makes up for every effort. We follow the ridge further towards Reeti. A few more exposed sections, one last climb, and then it's done: the summit of Reeti at 2,757 m above sea level. Time for a well-deserved rest with views of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.

Step
1 - 2 hr

The descent takes us via Fernandeshittli to Bussalp. Here, the mountain restaurant awaits with cool drinks and a last look back at the tour. The bus finally takes us back to Grindelwald.

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
