Day 1: Ascent to Dossen Hut
From the valley, we climb through the forest along the roaring stream. Curve by curve, we gain elevation until the first rocks and moraines of the glacier forefield appear. The terrain becomes more alpine here: We cross a moraine to reach the Rosenlaui bivouac, then tackle the first secured climbing sections. The path is exposed, and the views are impressive. Finally, we reach the Dossen Hut – a vantage point like an eagle's nest, surrounded by rock, snow, and vastness.

Day2
Day 2: Descent into Urbachtal
After a night high above the valley, we tackle the long descent. Initially over steep rocks and scree, later over pastures and meadows. In Schrätteren, we meet the path coming from the Gauli Hut. The view from the narrow path extends far into the Urbachtal. Finally, we reach Mürvorsess, from where we can continue to Innertkirchen or take a taxi.
