Itinerary
Meeting pointsTake the gondola up to First at 2,165 m above sea level.
We hike leisurely down to Distelboden. The first meters of elevation gain lead over gentle alpine meadows to Chrinnenboden (2,259 m above sea level). After that, the terrain becomes rockier, the path narrower and more demanding. We ascend in switchbacks to the Schwarzhorn shoulder, where we take a short break. Then we continue along the ridge to the summit of the Schwarzhorn at 2,928 m above sea level.
Up here, we are greeted with an impressive panoramic view of the Bernese Alps and the deeply carved valleys.
After a well-deserved break, we descend the same way. At Chrinnenboden, we take the path to Grosse Scheidegg, from where the bus takes us back to the valley.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
