Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: To Gemschberg
The meeting point is in Grindelwald. We take the cable car and chairlift up to Oberjoch. After an initial descent, we attach skins and ascend from Grindel Oberläger via the normal route to Gemschberg. With some luck, we might encounter chamois along the way. From the summit, we are rewarded with a wide, varied descent: first over open slopes down to Heidbiel, followed by a short climb to Chiemattenhubel, before continuing to Schwarzwaldalp. Here we enjoy a cozy night in Rosenlaui.

Day 2: Ski Tour to Wildgärst
In the morning, we start through the Rosenlaui Valley, past frozen waterfalls and snow-covered pines. Depending on conditions, we choose to ascend either via Hagelseewli or Wischbääch. Once at Wart, the summit of Wildgärst is in sight. The final section is done on foot or with skis, depending on snow conditions. From the summit, the view stretches over the Bernese Alps down to the lakes. After a dream descent, we return via Grosse Scheidegg to Grindelwald.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
