Itinerary

Meeting points
After meeting in Grindelwald, we take the First cable car up to First. Once there, we walk the 'First Cliff Walk' together. At the Oberjoch valley station, we focus on the topic of tourism. After a brief introduction, the hike continues via Üsser Bärgelbach to the upper pasture of Alp Grindel. Along the way, we witness climate change and its consequences—a fascinating topic for discussion during the hike. Upon reaching the alp, our guide shares insights about alpine farming in Grindelwald. We follow the high trail to Chiemattenhubel and continue to Schlafhubel. From here, we can look down into both the Grindelwald valley and the Rychenbach valley—on a clear day, we not only have a stunning view of various 4000-meter peaks but can also see as far as the Titlis. We then descend in the shadow of the Wetterhorn to Oberer Lauchbühl. Along the way, we take short breaks to enjoy the unique natural and cultural landscape. Our guide knows this area well and has many valuable stories to tell.

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
