Itinerary
Meeting pointsWe meet in Leukerbad and take the cable car to the Gemmi Pass. From there, we follow a hiking trail and later a grassy ledge to the start of the via ferrata. The ascent to Daubenhorn begins.
Across grassy ledges, rock steps, ladders, and iron pegs, we climb meter by meter. A small snack from the backpack provides the energy needed for the second, slightly more challenging part of the Daubenhorn via ferrata. In steep terrain, we continue over various elements, even through a tunnel. We've conquered the longest via ferrata in Switzerland, standing on Daubenhorn at 2,941 m above sea level.
After a leisurely summit break, we descend past the remnants of the Daubenhorn glacier to the Lämmerenboden and continue to the Gemmi Pass. We take the cable car for the last few meters, returning to our starting point. This exhausting but beautiful day in the mountains will remain in our memories for a long time!

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
