Key info
Overview
Freshly powdered slopes, light powder snow, it is a sign: It is time to hit the off-piste.
Want to leave the tracks and dive into fresh snow? We will show you the basics of freeriding: technique, equipment, behavior in the terrain. Step by step, in real terrain with direct feedback.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsYour guide will meet directly in the ski area: First, Männlichen, or Kleine Scheidegg. We will agree on the exact location in advance. If you have booked a full-day course, we can also pick you up at the hotel upon request.
Before we start, we will check your equipment together: freeride skis, bindings, backpack, avalanche transceiver set. If something is missing or does not fit, we will quickly find a solution. We warm up briefly and discuss the schedule.
We take the cable car to the area that best suits your level. Whether it is wide areas on Männlichen or playful variations on First, each area has its own lines. Once at the top, we will analyze the terrain together, discuss snow conditions, and possible routes.
Now it gets serious. We start with the first powder turns, working on your position, movement flow, and terrain feel. Step by step, you will learn how to find your line and ride through the powder in control.
We change the terrain, use short ascents for untracked slopes, and analyze your runs directly. When possible, we will film you: your style looks quite different when you see it from the outside. Everything you learn, you apply immediately. It is not about speed, but about technique, control, and terrain feel.
To wrap up, we will ride a longer line where you can apply everything you have learned.
Afterwards, we will take time for a short debriefing: What went well, where do you want to improve, which lines do you want to tackle next? You will get honest feedback and, if desired, tips on how to further develop your freeriding skills.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
