Season:
Departure Times
Intersport Grindelwald Terminal
Key info
Overview
An afternoon outdoors, a board under your feet, and your first real snowboarding experience in the snow.
Want to know what snowboarding really feels like? In 2 hours, we'll show you the essentials: gliding, braking, balance. The rest will come with time. And this first step is a lot of fun.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsYou meet at the Intersport store at the Grindelwald Terminal. Your snowboard instructor welcomes you and hands out boots, helmet, and board. Together you check that everything fits properly. After that, you head up by gondola.
The gondola ride takes around 25 minutes. Right at the top, you find ideal conditions for your first steps on the snowboard.
You start with gliding and stopping on your heel edge. Then you work on standing up, body control, and balance. All on gentle terrain, with clear guidance and no pressure.
To round off the experience, you enjoy a glass of champagne at the Spycherbar while taking in the mountain panorama.
You ride the gondola back down and return the equipment. What stays with you is the feeling of having started something new.

Weather info
General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
