Under a starry sky, you sled down the torch lit mountain trail, with a fondue waiting for your arrival; a winter fairy tale comes true.

This guided night sledding tour takes you on a 4.6 km route through the snowy winter forest. Under the starry sky, you will glide downhill, passing frozen waterfalls and traditional houses. After the tour, a cozy Swiss dinner with fondue awaits you; you could not name a more perfect winter evening in the mountains.

15 mins

We will first welcome you to our base. Here you'll meet your guide and get your equipment before setting off. Please arrive 10 minutes before the trip begins.

Transport
20 mins

After checking in and getting any last-minute layers, the shuttle drives you 20-minutes to the bottom station of the Gondola.

Gondola Ride
10 mins

You then take your sled, and ride the gondola up to the starting point of the tour.

Sledding Descent
1 hr

At the mountain station, the guides start with a safety briefing, explaining how to sled safely in the dark and what to watch out for on the route.

The descent covers a 4.0-kilometer unlit sledding track through snowy forests. The light of the moon and headlamps provides guidance. The guide accompanies the group, ensuring cohesion and safety. The ride takes about an hour.

Return to Interlaken
20 mins

At the end of the track, the bus is waiting to take the group back to Interlaken.

Fondue
1 hr

After stopping by the Outdoor base do return borrowed equipment, you will be shuttled to a local restaurant where a classic cheese fondue awaits you. A glass of wine (non-alcoholic options also available) rounds off the evening.
