Day 1: Ascent to Oberaletsch Hut
Meeting point in Blatten near Naters. After the cable car ride to Belalp, the ascent begins. The path leads over narrow trails, partly secured with chains, past rock bands and alpine slopes. The view extends to the Aletsch Glacier as we slowly approach the Oberaletsch Hut. Here we enjoy the evening in a rustic hut atmosphere and prepare for the summit day.

Day 2: Summit Tour to the Aletschhorn
We start early with headlamps over the Oberaletsch Glacier. As dawn breaks, the terrain becomes more technical: crevasse zones, snow ramps, and steeper sections lead us to the southwest ridge. Concentration and experience are required here as we climb higher step by step with crampons and ice axes. At the summit, a gigantic panoramic view of the Bernese and Valais Alps awaits us. After a short rest, we return the same way to the hut, where a well-deserved refreshment awaits.

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
